Hi, I'm Liz.
I am a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) working with mission-driven individuals and organizations ready to make bold moves to achieve their vision of social impact. I trained with the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), a rigorous coaching program. I have a Master's degree from Carleton University in International Affairs, with a specialty on conflict analysis. I am a graduate student at George Washington University, researching the role of respect and trust in not-for-profit organizations, and I bring over 15 years' work experience in both private and public sectors.
What I can do for you
As a professionally trained Leadership Coach, I have the process and expertise to help you cut through all the "noise" that gets in the way of making the really tough decisions. I help you evaluate the pros and cons of a situation and ask the right question to help you consider a fresh perspective. I challenge you to be specific with your goals and to design a strategy to achieve the goal effectively and efficiently. I have knowledge about leadership practices, ranging from emotional intelligence to difficult conversations, to the different models of the leadership process. I also take into account the whole life, making sure that you consider how work/professional choices affect (and are affected by) other considerations, like family, spirituality, friendships, parenting, health/aging, and personal finances.
Whole Person Coaching
I believe in coaching the whole person -- your career is affected by your personal life, and your personal life is affected by your career.
